ABOUT EVENT

Battery Bangladesh Show is a dedicated business platform for the rapidly evolving battery, energy storage and electric mobility ecosystem in Bangladesh. Held as a Concurrent Event of Eco-Energy Tech Expo-27, the show brings together battery manufacturers, technology providers, component suppliers, distributors, investors and industry professionals under one platform.

The exhibition will showcase the latest developments in automotive batteries, EV batteries, lithium-ion technologies, energy storage systems, industrial batteries, solar batteries, battery management systems, charging infrastructure, recycling and related technologies.

As Bangladesh advances toward cleaner energy, electrification and smarter energy management, Battery Bangladesh Show aims to create new opportunities for business networking, technology exchange, investment, sourcing and strategic partnerships.

From Battery Technology to the Future of Energy Storage — Connecting Bangladesh with the Global Battery Industry.

INDUSTRY SUMMARY

Bangladesh's battery industry is developing alongside the country's expanding automotive, renewable energy, backup power and electric mobility sectors.

According to the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the country's battery market has been driven strongly by the automobile sector and the expansion of electric three-wheelers. BIDA identifies battery manufacturing as an investment opportunity and highlights the growing demand for both domestic and global markets.

The country's long experience with solar home systems has also helped develop local capabilities in battery manufacturing, solar components and energy-system integration.

At the same time, the next generation of the market is moving toward:

Lithium-ion and advanced battery technologies
Electric vehicle batteries
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Solar energy storage
UPS and industrial energy storage
Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Battery charging infrastructure
Battery recycling and circular economy
Local battery-component manufacturing

Bangladesh's renewable-energy policy also places emphasis on battery storage integration and grid stability, creating additional opportunities for energy-storage technologies.

WHY BANGLADESH?

A Growing Market for

Batteries, Energy Storage & Electric Mobility

Bangladesh offers a growing market for battery and energy-storage technologies, supported by expanding industrial activity, electrification, renewable-energy deployment and demand for reliable power solutions.

Growing Energy Demand

Bangladesh's power demand is growing, while industries and businesses increasingly require reliable and efficient energy solutions. BIDA reports annual power-demand growth of around 7%.

Strong Solar Potential

Solar is currently the leading renewable-energy technology in Bangladesh. Government data reported 1,335 MW of solar capacity across on-grid and off-grid systems as of the latest published update.

Expanding EV Ecosystem

The increasing use of electric three-wheelers and other electric mobility solutions is creating demand for batteries, charging systems and related technologies.

Policy Momentum

Bangladesh's Renewable Energy Policy 2025 targets renewable sources for 20% of national power demand by 2030 and 30% by 2040, while also highlighting battery energy storage systems for grid stability.

Investment Opportunities

BIDA's investment heatmap identifies Renewable Energy as an immediate investment target and EV Battery as a sector requiring further ecosystem and capacity development.

Battery Bangladesh Show provides an opportunity to connect international technology and investment with Bangladesh's growing market.
